First Cliff Walk
On the lookout platform near the terrace at the Bergrestaurant, you can imagine how this must feel – including the thrill: The terrace rises 45 metres out into the void. In order to reach it, visitors must first climb to dizzying heights on the west side of the First summit. The Boutique Hotel Glacier is located 1 km away from the cable car station to First Cliff Walk.
Pfingstegg Fly Line
Would you like to unwind and enjoy the moment? Then it’s time for a ride with our Fly Line. Enjoy a 2,5 minute flight over 350 meters in distance in breathtaking alpine scenery. The starting and ending point is just below the Pfingstegg gondola mountain station. Thanks to a specially developed lift system, this is the only Fly Line worldwide where you are being brought back to the starting point without having to walk, so you can just enjoy the experience.
Altitude Ski & Snowboard School Grindelwald
Altitude Ski and Snowboard School started the Grindelwald and Wengen operations in 2008. The internationally qualified team is able to offer ski & snowboard lessons in a variety of languages, including but not limited to, English, Swiss German, German and French. The team is made up of qualified and experienced instructors who all understand and appreciate the need for a quality service to be delivered. In addition, some of the instructors are specialists in teaching: children, nervous clients, people with disabilities, VIP’s, corporate groups and team building.
Indoor Curling Hall
Curling is an attractive and exciting sport that young and old can take part in and enjoy. The game develops both the body and the mind, through movement, concentration and observation that is necessary during the game. As well as fitness, ability, and skill; fairness and team spirit are also required
Minigolf Grindelwald
A beautiful 18-hole minigolf course is located on Grindelwald’s main street in the best possible position. Children as well as older visitors will get their money’s worth. The course is open from April to October and in good weather it is possible to play from 13am – 7pm. Barbecues are spontaneously held at the bar of the minigolf course.
Mountaineering
From far our mountains look wild and jagged and seem unclimbable. Luckily there are a few that can be climbed a lot easier than they appear, these easier peaks you will find under this heading, the “wilder” ones you can find under the heading “Summits”. Come and climb a beautiful mountain with us, mountains- maybe the last wilderness areas of Switzerland.
Schynige Platte
When hiking on the Schynige Platte you don’t get very far. Every few steps you stop to admire the stars, umbels and bells that bloom on the meadows. Or you can stop to admire the panorama. Everyone starts to slow down the pace. If they have not already done so: in the nostalgic trip on the Schynige Platte Railway or later in the restaurant with its breathtaking view.
Harder Kulm
If Interlaken had a king, he would reside on the Harder Kulm. From the viewing platform at 1,322 metres above sea level, he would graciously look down upon Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, or admire the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. In order to visit it, however, you don’t need to be a king – just take a seat in the funicular and ascend Interlaken’s own mountain.
Trümmelbach Falls
With its ten glacial waterfalls inside the mountain, made accessible by tunnel lift, the Trümmelbach waterfalls are truly unique in Europe. Trümmelbach alone drains the enormous glacial walls of the Eiger (3970m), Mönch (4099m) and Jungfrau (4158m) with up to a spectacular 20,000 litres of water per second.
Jet Boat
An exciting boat trip takes you from the Jet-Port in Bönigen to the majestic and famous Giessbach Waterfalls. An unforgettable boat tour peppered with impressive scenery, unique driving sensation, the right amount of adrenaline for everyone to fully enjoy, full 360 ° spins and a good portion of yarn!
Indoor Mini Golf
The Omega is the first 3D-blacklightminigolfplace in the Bernese Alps. 17 unique courses surrounded by neon street art inspired by the landscapes and animals of the mountains are awaiting you. For the creative ones there is the possibility to paint yourself with professional neonbodypaint that appears to be 3D as well before you play. Before, during and after the game there is the possibility to have drinks inside the course or in the cozy lounge. on weekends you might bump into parties in the evening and night hours. Everything is wheelchair accessible and there is a special entrance for wheelchairs.
