The new reality in a world with Corona has a great impact on the needs of hotel and restaurant guests. We would like to inform and reassure you that we will do everything in our power to make your stay at the Glacier pleasant and relaxing. We have done a great deal for your well-being and safety and adhere to the safety concept of GastroSuisse and HotellerieSuisse. On some points we even go further.
It is important to us that the extensive hygiene measures can be implemented very discreetly – after all, the holiday feeling should not be impaired.
Masks must be worn in all publicly accessible indoor areas in Bern.
Entrance and public areas
The narrowest and busiest area of our hotel. Please help us to respect the 1.5m distance rule.
At the reception and in the public areas there are several disinfection stations available.
Both the reception and restaurant are equipped with plexiglas walls.
Unfortunately, the use of books, magazines or newspapers is not allowed in our library at the moment.
In the restaurant, we have separated the tables with plexiglass walls.
The already comprehensive cleaning plans have been supplemented by additional disinfection times.
You can still enjoy a good lunch or an evening for four people or as a family.
On the terrace, we cannot put up partitions because of the often strong wind.
For your safety, we have provided a distance of 1.5m between each table.
Daily disinfection of the rooms and more frequent cleaning ensure your safety.
Each room is thoroughly disinfected after each stay, in addition to the usual cleaning.
With the extra measures, our spa offers space for a maximum of 10 people.

The outdoor whirlpool can accommodate 6 people but can only be used by one group (maximum 4 people) at a time due to extra safety measures.
The gym is small and well equipped.
We ask you to help us keep our distance.
We also thought about our employees!
Employees in the risk group are freed from contact with guests and have their own workstation, at a sufficient distance to work with their colleagues in the company.
